Annuario 2020 – Per aspera ad astra – Benedetto Luigi Compagnoni

Inspired by the pandemic emergency, the Annuario has moved in a new direction aimed at innovation and inclusiveness. The introduction to this volume, authored by the Director of the State Archives of Milan and its School of Archival Science, Paleography and Diplomatics, explains how this 2020 issue came about, as well as its vision. It illustrates its new look, including a digital and a paper format, various sections, and silkscreens produced by young artists, and its purpose of offering to the reader a variety of archival, paleographic and diplomatic scholarship on both traditional and emerging themes and issues.
